Year of the Devil at San Diego Comic-Con
PinTap brought Year of the Devil Smart Pins to SDCC — fans tapped in, chatted with the Devil, earned achievements and entered to meet Danny Trejo.
Year of the Devil arrived at San Diego Comic-Con on July 24–25, 2026, with official PinTap Smart Pins at the centre of the experience.
Every Year of the Devil pin carries a secure digital identity that only PinTap can unlock. Fans who tapped in could:
- Tap the pin — hold a phone to an official Year of the Devil pin to open it.
- Claim and register — sign in and claim the pin to their collection.
- Face the Devil — unlock the live experience: chat with the Devil, earn achievements and reveal exclusive content at the event.
Registering a pin during the promotion also entered fans into a giveaway for a once-in-a-lifetime meet-and-greet with Danny Trejo, drawn live at the Year of the Devil Hall D panel. (No purchase necessary — see the official rules.)
